SMP Switches to Alcohol Free with manroland
Leading point-of-sale and poster printer, SMP Group plc, has ordered a ROLAND 900 XXL Size-8 press for its Woolwich, London facility. The new five-colour press, scheduled for installation during December, will be run from day-one without alcohol, with other machinery at the plant set to follow in the same direction, as part of a program to reduce the level of alcohol used within the press hall.

Environment Award for manroland
The Minister for the Environment in the German state of Hesse, Wilhelm Dietzel, recently visited the Offenbach Graphic Center to present manroland Board Member Dr. Markus Rall with the “Glanzlicht-Urkunde” (“Highlight Certificate”) for the company’s lasting environmental commitment.
